About Us
Interpretive Center Hours
The John A. Weeks Interpretive Center is open
Monday-Friday: 9am to 4pm
Saturday: 10am to 4pm
Sunday: Closed, except in conjunction with a program/event.
Holidays: The Center is closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Additionally, in 2012, the Center will be closed on December 26th and 27th.
Our trails are open to hikers everyday from dawn to dusk.
Please do not bring dogs to Baltimore Woods. As a nature center, our goal is to help people enjoy and learn about nature. Dogs are a distraction to their owners, a potential threat to wildlife, and a disturbance to other visitors. Marcellus Park, on Platt Road, does allow dogs.
Due to the hilly terrain, cross-country skiing is not permitted at Baltimore Woods. We do provide snowshoe rentals during the winter months. Use of our snowshoes is free to members, $5/hour for nonmembers.
Thank you for your cooperation in using our trails and facilities safely for yourself and our other visitors!
