Directions to Baltimore Woods Nature Center (BWNC)
4007 Bishop Hill Road, Marcellus, NY

Please note that the 6 miles of hiking trails at Baltimore Woods Nature Center are open to foot traffic only. Bikes, skiing, and dogs are not allowed on the trails.


If you live……
NORTHEAST of Marcellus
From Syracuse (20 minutes), Clay (30 minutes), Liverpool (30 minutes) and Mattydale (20 minutes):
Follow I-690 to the NY-695 S (toward Auburn/NY-5) exit. Take NY-5 W toward Auburn. Take the Camillus Warners exit, turn left at the stop sign, heading into Camillus. Turn Right at the light onto W. Genesee St. Turn left at NY 174 S. Turn right at the light onto Main St in Marcellus. Take a quick left onto South St. Follow South St to Bishop Hill Road (slight right). The parking lot is on top of the hill on the right.


If you live……
EAST of Marcellus
From Dewitt (30 minutes), Fayetteville (30 minutes), Jamesville (30 minutes), Manlius (40 minutes), and Chittenango (45minutes)

Take 173 west (West Seneca Turnpike).
Proceed to 175 west (You will pass Onondaga Community College-OCC). 
Pass through three flashing lights. You will then reach the village of Marcellus.
Go down into Marcellus, straight through the main traffic light and turn left on South Street.
Proceed on South Street for about a ¼ mile until you reach a Y in the road. Bear right, this is Bishop Hill Road.  
The parking lot is on top of the hill, on the right.                                        
                                             
If you live……
WEST of Marcellus
From Skaneateles (10 minutes) and Auburn (20 minutes)

Take Route 20 east to junction Route 175 east (Lee Mulroy Road).
Turn left (which is just past Skanellus Diner) and take the third left hand turn, onto Bishop Hill Road.
Proceed up to the top of the hill past Lawrence Rd (approximately ½ mile). The BWNC Interpretive Center is on the left, after the tall pine trees.  Proceed a short distance to the Baltimore Woods parking lot located on the left.
