During the first warm (above 40ºF) rainy night after the
spring equinox, hundreds of amphibians creep from underground lairs toward
vernal pools (swampy puddles). However,
roads built through sensitive amphibian habitats endanger this annual
migration. The chance to observe this event is a gift you will not soon
forget. Find out when BWNC will attempt
to observe this migration at Labrador Hollow by watching for alerts on the homepage of our website, or by calling
673.1350 to be put on our alert list.
