How to Get Involved

Baltimore Woods provides many opportunities for corporate groups and individuals to volunteer.

Opportunities range from working in the classroom with one of our environmental educators, to sponsoring a hat & mitten drive, or cleaning up a local green space.

We can work with you to create unique events that meet our needs as well as your corporate volunteer interests.

"Participating in the program, both in the classrooms and at Elmwood Park, was a rewarding experience. I worked with a group of professional environmental educators and applied my knowledge of biology to teach observational and analytical tools to elementary students.  The hands-on teaching approach provided  learning that focused on the nature in the students' neighborhoods. The program also provided examples of human activity effects on the environment and identified appropriate environmental stewardship."
